I have an Office Pro account and wanted to install the new Office Every time I run the installer it tells me it needs to uninstall the Office which was installed from my Office Pro account I agree and then it goes to the install window.

A bit of history about my PC. It was running Windows 8. I tried all the diagnostic updates suggested by Microsoft short of re-installing Windows None of it worked I attempted to install Office from my Office subscription or what I thought was Office as it does not actually tell you in the download page which version you are downloading. I had to manually uninstall the license key version of Office Then Office from the Office subscription was loaded although this took a number of attempts as it crashed the PC but eventually it loaded and works.
The added bonus was that the Windows update now seems to work again.
